An introduction to the basics of mindful living, this 4-week class will equip you with the tools to bring mindful awareness into your everyday life.

Week 1 (January 22nd): Intro to Mindful Awareness
Week 2 (January 29th): Mindfulness of the Body
Week 3 (February 5th): Mindfulness of Difficult Thoughts & Emotions
Week 4 (February 12th): Mindful Communication & Building a Mindful Living Practice

*Come for all or any individual class

THE EASTSIDE MINDFULNESS COLLECTIVE’S WEEKLY SATURDAY MORNING COMMUNITY SIT 

Join The Eastside Mindfulness Collective’s Weekly Community Sit in “The Garage.” We’re building a community of like-hearted individuals interested in exploring secular spirituality through mindful living and learning.

Each gathering will be facilitated by Jennifer Howd (a certified mindfulness facilitator through UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center) and will include guided meditation and silent practice time, along with a suggested mindfulness practice for the week, and facilitated community sharing. Chairs will be provided. And tea will be served.

Saturday mornings from 10am-11:30am
10am – 10:30am – Sit
10:30am – 11:30am – Q&A/Facilitated Group Discussion

WHERE?
The converted garage of a private residence in Atwater Village (AKA – “The Garage”)

Seating is limited. If you prefer to sit on the floor, BYOC (bring your own cushion).

Every 4th Monday of the month (excluding holidays).

Join us for free monthly mindfulness meditation sessions at the Silver Lake Public Library. Each session will include guided meditation and silent practice time, along with a suggested daily life practice for the week, and the opportunity for community sharing.

Chairs will be provided. Please feel free to bring your own meditation cushion.
